HAZWOPER 40

Description

The HAZWOPER 40 course is designed for those that need to be certified to work on GDOT related projects. OSHA created the HAZWOPER standard (29 CFR 1910.120) to make sure that workers who clean up, treat, store, dispose of, or otherwise handle hazardous waste can do their jobs without risking their health and safety. One of the HAZWOPER requirements is that workers receive extensive, structured training before they begin their jobs. This course meets the instructional requirements for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Responses (HAZWOPER) workers.
